The Government Acted on Pension Funding. Now Corporates Must Too

The 2018 Government statement on pension funding means that:

• More cash will be needed to fund higher targets
• Directors and companies can face fines and criminal charges
• More power for TPR to request money from parents and related parties
• More direct intervention in corporate finance deals
